Week Thirteen

I dangle beneath a canopy of projects.  At week thirteen the following objectives are in progress or remain undone:

Finish a piece to submit to The Audacity of Post-Racism, an anthology of work by 25 writers under 25 on Race, Identity and Scholarship.

Continue prying into representations of masculinity, (Mira Schor’s Wet, do some writing)

Continue/Finish my summer’s annotated bibliography

Continue mind mapping potential research directions

Visit the stacks for some heavy books on visual culture

Go to a two year old’s birthday bash and make it back before classes start without too much of a chocolate milk hangover

It was a very productive week.  I spent I substantial amount of time in meetings–both the more formal kind with advisors, medics and consultants, and the informal catching up and goofing off kind with my life team.  The week did not slow down when I asked it to.  Time is an uncooperative duck.
